All Object Types in VCF Operations have a Summary Page, the default VM Summary Page looks like this.

ree

But maybe you have a favorite Dashboard you'd like to use instead, here's how you can do that (screenshots taken from VCF Operations 9). Go to Infrastructure Operations - Dashboards & Reports - Manage - three dots.

ree

Select Manage Summary Dashboards.

ree

Select the Adapter Type from the dropdown that is capturing the Object Type you'd like to adjust the Summary Page on, in this case it will be vCenter as we're adjusting the VM Summary Page.

ree

These are the default Summary Pages for each Object Type. To change the one for VMs, select the Virtual Machine line, then select the gauge icon in the toolbar.

ree

You will then be presented with a list of available Dashboards.

ree

Let's select VM Details v4, then click OK.

ree

You'll now notice the VM Object Type is bound to this new Dashboard, click SAVE. Now when you go to a VM Summary Page you'll see this.

ree

If you like this Dashboard, you can get it here. You'll notice the top left widget I have Self Provider turned off, this allows it to be auto-populated by the VM in question. You can do this same thing for any Object Type you'd like, enjoy!

Hi Brock, after loading your fabulous dashboard and views, then changing the default Summary Page, attempting to view the summary for the VM, I receive this error message:

ree

Have you seen this before? When comparing my VM Summary dashboard with what you have on this blogpost, I noticed that the Scoreboard for VM section does not have graphs associated with it:

ree

Not sure if this is the cause or not. We are running Aria Operations Version: 8.18.2 (24394060)

Yea, that's because the Scoreboard Gauge theme is only available in VCF Operations 9 or above.
