VCF Operations Fleet Manager 9.0 Upgrade to 9.0.1

With VCF 9.0.1 dropping earlier this week I thought I'd upgrade my lab, I'm started with VCF Operations Fleet Manager. Logging into VCF Operations - Fleet Management - Lifecycle - VCF Management, you'll notice right away there is a new version available.

From here I went to Binary Management - PATCH BINARIES to find it.

I'm not covering Depot Configuration here, but I'm using an Online Depot for discovery and downloads on binaries. Select fleet management 9.0.1.0 and click DOWNLOAD.

Once submitted, it'll indicate as such.

Selecting the click here link will take you to the Tasks tab and you can follow the download progess.

Once complete it will look like this.

Since this is a Patch we will go to Settings - System Patches to apply it, but first take a Snapshot by clicking CREATE SNAPSHOT.

You can follow along with this as well here.

Back on the Settings - Systems Patches tab we'll apply the Patch by selecting NEW PATCH TOP RIGHT and point at at your recently downloaded Patch.

Select the Patch radio button and click NEXT.

Verify everything looks good and click INSTALL. The install took about 10m and I confirmed it was successfully applied by checking Settings - System Details.
