We previously upgraded Aria Operations 8.18.3 to VCF Operations 9 via the Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager, which deployed the Fleet Manager for us. Not sure if it's supposed to connect automatically, but it didn't, so let's connect it. Log into your Admin UI and go here.

ree

Click CONNECT and give it the Fleet Manager details, then click TEST CONNECTION.

ree

Accept Certificate and click NEXT.

ree

Back on the Admin UI we now have this.

ree

Once connected it'll look like this.

ree

Back in VCF Operations 9, Fleet Managment - Lifecycle now has options.

ree

You'll notice the Pending Import in the VCF Operations tile, let's go there first, click IMPORT.

ree

I need a Deployment Target, so I set that in Fleet Management - Lifecycle - Settings - Deployment Targets - ADD DEPLOYMENT TARGET.

ree

Click VALIDATE to validate connection.

ree

After validation, click ADD.

ree

Then click RETURN TO TASKS to go back to your tasks.

ree

Click Pending Action.

ree

Insert your new target vCenter, click I accept and NEXT.

ree

Click SUBMIT and we're off!

ree

And we're in!

ree

Next up will be the Operations for Logs instance, which has to be deployed fresh.
